Six hundred years have passed since the arrival of Admiral Cheng Ho (Zheng He) from the Ming Dynasty to Cirebon for diplomatic purposes. The long span of time between his arrival and today poses a challenge in delving deeper into the story and history. Due to the absence of many traces of his presence and the limited literature that discusses it, exploring further becomes difficult.

With this concern in mind, I attempt to create a fictional narrative of what if Admiral Cheng Ho were to return and witness the condition of the city today. I envision Cheng Ho using my body as a medium to connect with the present world. This work employs a self-portrait and mixed media approach to visualize the story.
