Kurnia Ngayuga Wibowo was born in 1997 in Cirebon, Indonesia. He is a mixed-media artist who works with photography and moving images as part of his artistic practice.

The mixed media in Yuga's work is based on his interest in contradictory elements. He incorporates domestic objects as part of his artistic expression, while photography is chosen as a representation of reality that he seeks to intervene with.

For the past three years, Yuga has conducted research on the paradoxical relationship between myth, history, and urban society in Cirebon. Through his work, he questions the public’s perspective on myth and history in today's context.

Additionally, Yuga is actively writing essays on photography, covering topics such as medium, practice, and the photography ecosystem in Indonesia. He is particularly interested in the intersections of photography with daily phenomena and its current relevance.

In 2022, Yuga was selected to participate in the Permata Youth Story photography workshop with PannaFoto Institute. His works have been presented at the Bandung Photography Triennale, Bandung Photography Month, and SEA Reading FotoBook DUMMIES Day in Taiwan.
